A quick visit to Taiwan

September 2, 2019

So everyone is going to this place and we are curious about it. I’ve been to Taiwan for a quick visit because of a seat sale and Filipinos no longer need a visa to go there. Yeah, that escalated quickly. You can simply book your flights from the Philippines through Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, Air Asia, and EvaAir. There are limited flights per day depending on the airline from the PH so do not expect that you have a lot of schedules to choose from.

We left Manila at 8 am, the earliest AirAsia flight going to Taipei. We arrived at Touyuan Airport at 10:15 am and was able to pass the immigration by 11 am. After that, we picked up our sim at a Klook kiosk and ate at the arrival foodcourt.

Taiwan is also famous for its different versions of fried chicken.

From the airport, we took the train going to the city proper. We stayed at Taipei M hotel, it’s very near to the train station, convenient stores, shopping outlet, and other hotels too. The room we stayed in was a bit cozy but can fit 2 people. The CR is too cute for Asians.

Tours not included in the expenses. I mostly availed them via Klook.
